จากการ์ตูนสุดฮิตของเกาหลี ได้รับรางวัลด้านความนิยม 3 ปีซ้อน และยังได้รับการตีพิมพ์ออกจำหน่ายในหลายประเทศ ทั้งเกาหลี อเมริกา และญี่ปุ่น ฯลฯ ถูกดัดแปลงมาเป็นภาพยนตร์ซีรีส์แนวโรแมนติกดรามา ผสานความสนุกสนาน โดยรวบรวมนักแสดงดาวรุ่งที่กำลังได้รับความนิยมในเกาหลีอย่าง ยุน อึนเฮ (Yoon Eun Hye) หนึ่งในสมาชิกวงดนตรีชื่อดังของเกาะเกาหลี Baby V.O.X จู จีฮุน (Joo Ji Hyun) คิม จองฮุน (Kim Jung Hyun) และ ซอง จีฮโย (Song Ji Hyo) มาถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวความรักระหว่างเจ้าชายและเจ้าหญิงยุคใหม่ใน เจ้าหญิงวุ่นวาย กับเจ้าชายเย็นชา (PRINCESS HOURS)

โดยส่วนหนึ่งของภาพยนตร์ซีรีส์เรื่องนี้ ยกกองมาถ่ายทำกันในสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญๆ ของประเทศไทย อาทิ ถนนข้าวสาร ตลาดน้ำดำเนินสะดวก และหัวหิน แถมยังสอดแทรกบรรยากาศของการเล่นน้ำตามประเพณีไทยแต่โบราณเอาไว้อย่างลงตัวอีกด้วย

เนื้อเรื่องย่อ:

ชิน แชยอง นักเรียนมัธยมจอมเปิ่น เธอเป็นเด็กผู้หญิงธรรมดาๆ คนหนึ่งที่ต้องตกกระไดพลอยโจนมาแต่งงานกับเจ้าชาย ลีชิน รัชทายาทหนุ่มผู้แสนจะเย็นชาแห่งราชวงศ์เกาหลี ตามคำสัญญาที่ปู่ของเธอมีไว้กับอดีตพระราชาองค์ก่อน แต่เจ้าชาย ลีชิน กลับมีใจให้กับ มิน โฮริน สาวสวยที่วิ่งหาฝันอยากจะเป็นนักบัลเล่ต์มืออาชีพ โดยหมายมั่นว่าจะต้องแต่งงานกับ โฮริน ให้ได้ แต่...ฝันของเจ้าชาย ลีชิน ต้องสลายเมื่อ โฮริน ปฏิเสธที่จะแต่งงานด้วย เจ้าชาย ลีชิน จึงต้องจำนนใจที่จะแต่งงานกับ แชยอง ตามคำสั่งของพระพันปี

หลังจากพิธีอภิเษกสมรส ชีวิตในวังของ แชยอง ดูจะผ่านไปอย่างยากลำบาก เธอต้องเรียนรู้ประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆ ทั้งคำราชาศัพท์ กฎระเบียบ และสังคม รวมถึงต้องทำให้เจ้าชาย ลีชิน หันมาสนใจและยอมรับในตัวตนของเธอให้ได้ แต่ที่สุดแล้วเหตุการณ์กลับตาลปัตรกลายเป็นว่าทุกคนในวังต้องปรับชีวิตตาม แชยอง เป็นพัลวัน

ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง แชยอง และเจ้าชาย ลีชิน ดูเหมือนจะเริ่มก่อตัวไปในทางที่ดีขึ้น แต่ก็เกิดเรื่องราววุ่นวายใหญ่โตขึ้นจนได้ เมื่อมีภาพสวีทหวานระหว่างเจ้าชาย ลีชิน กับ โฮริน อดีตแฟนสาวหลุดผ่านทางอินเตอร์เน็ต ทำให้ แชยอง เกิดความขุ่นข้องหมองใจ แถมยังเป็นการทำลายภาพลักษณ์ของเจ้าชายรัชทายาท ซึ่งในอนาคตจะต้องขึ้นปกครองประเทศเกาหลีอีกด้วย ส่งผลให้เหล่าเชื้อพระวงศ์เริ่มปรึกษาหารือกัน และลงความเห็นว่า เจ้าชายลีชิน ไม่มีความเหมาะสมพอที่จะขึ้นครองตำแหน่งราชา โดยลงความเห็นกันว่าจะมอบตำแหน่งเจ้าชายรัชทายาทให้แก่ เจ้าชายยูล อดีตรัชทายาทที่ต้องระหกระเหินไปอยู่ประเทศอังกฤษ ซึ่งเพิ่งเดินทางกลับมาพร้อมกับมารดา อดีตราชินีผู้ทะเยอทะยาน ที่หวังจะทวงบัลลังก์คืนให้กับลูกชายสุดที่รัก ในขณะเดียวกัน พระราชาองค์ปัจจุบัน ก็แสดงออกอย่างชัดเจนว่าต้องการให้เจ้าชายยูลขึ้นรับตำแหน่งเจ้าชาย รัชทายาทแทน เจ้าชายลีชิน ด้วยเช่นกัน

โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว เจ้าชายยูล เป็นผู้รักสันโดษ ไม่ยึดติดกับตำแหน่งเจ้าชายรัชทายาท แต่ในครั้งนี้เขากลับมีความต้องการที่จะแย่งชิงตำแหน่งเจ้าชายรัชทายาทกลับคืนมาเป็นของตนเอง เพียงเพราะเหตุผลเดียว คือ ต้องการครองคู่กับ แชยอง หญิงสาวที่ตนตกหลุมรักอย่างหมดหัวใจ
ราชวงศ์เกาหลีเริ่มระส่ำมากขึ้น เมื่อเกิดข่าวลือแพร่สะพัดไปทั่วว่า เจ้าชายยูล มีความสัมพันธ์กับพี่สะใภ้ของตนเอง ซึ่งถือเป็นเรื่องร้ายแรงผิดกฎมณเฑียรบาล ในขณะเดียวกัน โฮริน ที่เคยปฏิเสธการแต่งงานกับเจ้าชายรัชทายาท ลีชิน คิดจะแย่งเจ้าชายรัชทายาท ลีชิน กลับคืนมาเป็นของตนเอง เรื่องราวสุดโกลาหลระหว่างความรักของทั้ง 2 หนุ่ม 2 สาวจะลงเอยอย่างไร ติดตามชมได้ใน เจ้าหญิงวุ่นวาย กับเจ้าชายเย็นชา (PRINCESS HOURS)
